Welcome to my little home on the web.  Here you can read a lot about who I am, and work that I do.

My writings can be found all over the web, but most notably on Helium.Com and AccociatedContent.com - the links are to your right, as well as links to my Twitter and Zazzle accounts.

I currently have five (5) slots open for commision, in a variety of mediums and topics, and my prices for basic pencil art start at a mere ten dollars.

I am also taking on various editing tasks and helping writers to improve their work.  My rates for reading/editing/critiquing start at twenty dollars an hour with a one hour minimum.  I have five (5) of these slots available as well.

Please, sit down, have a cup of tea, and feel free to drop me an Email if you'd like to discuss my work, your work, or even just say hello.

Peace be with you,

Caroline A Tigeress

A segment on the old Mutant Life Series, I'm dusting them off and compiling them for the "Cometh Uber" book.

Denise wheeled in slowly, wearing her black zip uniform into the monitor room. Immediately the tech turned and addressed her.
“DarkStarr? You're off duty, ma'am. Are you taking someone's place?” Lieutenant JG Hawkins, so his name badge read, said.
“No. Mark me as out of facility, and give me airspace in twenty minutes.” She said...

When we look at alcohol, we all know one basic thing.  Alcohol removes inhibition, and to a smoker who is either trying to quit, cut down, or even just monitor their nicotine intake that lack of awareness can be extraordinarily dangerous...  (continued on Helium, and posted also to Associated Content, Bukisa and Gather)

This is the intro for the adult version of FirePower; I've posted it to Helium, Associated Content, Bukisa and Gather.  This is an exert from the 2009 Nanowrimo Novel and is part of the Mutant Life universe.

Well I didn't make it.  I've learned a lot, though.

First off, the software that nanowrimo runs on is a bit parsnickety.  I had to keep requesting my password over and over, even though I used the correct entry.  That was pretty annoying.  The word count subroutine isn't equal to Open Office's subroutine, but they do mention that word counts differ from program to program, so I can't fault them.

The community there is wonderful.  Absolutly wonderful.  Encouraging, innovative people who have a real dedication to writing and literature.  I'm looking foward to working with them next year.  I got to help a woman out with a cover for her novel (see the Ad Astra).

So to recap, I've gone and created the 'Next' Generation for Mutant Life.  I'm going to be taking a bit easy on them, for a while, and probably shoring up the older generation.  However the new shorts I'll be posting out and about, and here they are:

Called on the Carpet
The Right Thing to Do

24873 - just under half.  I'm not going to give up, though.  It is a good reflection about what I'm capable of, at this point in time, about one-thousand focused words a day.  It's interesting because when I write for Helium and the other websites It's much different.

Now that's more like it.  22078 words, and the creation of a little piece of Morocco in Helena, Montana.  I'm really trying to gear up to doing 2000 words a day.  That could, once I get the patterning down, give me a short novella a month.

19205 today, and the cover illustraition is almost complete, really a good day overall writing wise.  Great caming session, too.  I'll be starting to seperate the individual stories soon and will be posting more of them as time goes by.  I'm going to be kind of happy when the nanowrimo is order, I've not been writing many articles for Helium and it's getting a bit tedious to write about the same subject/context over and over again.

And the going is slow...and slow shall be the gonig 14868.  I've been posting on other forums, however, so that's a good thing.

Got it up to 9699 words and more work on the cover.  I think I'm going to probably go with Lulu as far as publishing is concerned, as I already own a block of ISBN's.  It's progressing well, and, as usual, it's up on Helium.com  The Interview

More writing today than yesterday, but I'm going to have to really buckle down and crank some words out today.  971, updated the info page on the blog, as now I'm offering some editorial services and am open for art comissions.  I did manage one segment that, as usually I put on Helium Called On The Carpet

Finished yesterday's episode and popped it up on Helium Shakes and Snakes but only got 157 words done.  Very long day as far as getting out and doing things of a physical nature.  Hoping to catch up this weekend.

Up to 5000 words today which puts me back up to schedule.  Introduced the two main characters to each other, and made a minor enemy who may or may not come back to haunt them, I'm unsure which.  In the meantime you can check out this segment on Helium...
